Whether you need a table plan for your wedding day, corporate event an award ceremony or any other special occasion Inkerman Designs will create a luxury, personalised table plan to accompany your occasion and help it run smoothly.

We create one off, handmade, quality framed table plans. You have the option to choose one of our table plan themes or the option to customise your own.

Customers who purchase a table plan for their wedding day treasure them as unique and personalised pieces of artwork for their homes after their big day is over.

Choosing Your Table Plan

Table Plan Themes - we have created a number of carefully designed themes that you might like to choose from. Our table plan themes are perfect for anyone who does not feel comfortable designing their own table plan or because you simply just love our themes. Customised Table Plans - if you would prefer to customise your own table plan so it perfectly complements your occasion then you can choose your own frame style, frame colour, embellishment and font type. We have a wide range of beautiful embellishments from diamantes to pearls.

What are table plans?

Table plans are essentially a seating diagram that helps each guest find their particular table and tells them who else is among the party at their table. They are essential to the organisation and smooth running of any occasion where you have a pre-arranged seating plan. It will normally be displayed at the entrance to the room where you are hosting your event and is often the thing your guests will see.

At wedding banquets, the bridal party and their guests usually sit in pre-arranged groups of relatives and friends, each group being seated at a different table. Sometimes the tables are given names according to a particular theme that is personal to the bride and groom such as their favourite bands or wines. Other couples prefer to simply number their guests tables. Traditionally at weddings there will be a top table which includes the bride and groom, mother and father of the bride, mother and father of the groom, the best man and the chief bridesmaid however, this a personal choice. The table plan is usually displayed at the entrance to the wedding reception.

About how our handcrafted table plans are made

  • Size of table plans - 20 x 24 inches
    our table plans are currently available in 1 size only (large 20x24 inches), but if you have specific needs for a larger or smaller sized plan please get in touch and we will endeavour to create a table plan tailored to your requirements.
  • The materials and make up of each table plan are as follows:
    • Wooden frame
    • Luxury deep bevelled acid free mount
    • Thick card
    • Double satin ribbon
    • High quality embellishments
    • Acrylic glazing
    • MDF backing
    • Fixtures and fittings included

The Process of Ordering a Table Plan

  1. Select your table plan (either by choosing one of our table plan themes or the option to customise your own).
  2. Having made your selection we ask that you now create a free account and follow the steps to confirm your order and make payment.
  3. Now that you have an account with us and have placed your order, you will be able to use our online table planner to upload the details for your table plan. This must be completed within the timeframes specified.

Timeframes for submitting final details for your table plan

Weddings - the majority of brides and grooms will have asked their guests attending their wedding reception to RSVP months in advance and will know who is attending. We ask that you submit your order with the final details and guests names for your wedding day at least 4 weeks before your actual wedding day.

Corporate and Award Ceremonies - we understand that guest lists for corporate events and award ceremonies changes frequently and often at the last minute. We ask that you submit your order with the final details and guests names for your event at least 2 weeks before the actual event date.

Delivery - your table plan will arrive with you within 2 - 3 weeks of you submitting your final details for the table plan using our online table planner.

Our Online Table Planner

We understand that organising a special occasion with lots of people can be stressful. We have developed a very easy and interactive way for you to give us the details required for your table plan using our, online table planner tool.

You will have access to the online table planner once you have created an account with us and placed your order. Simply scroll down your account page to the Online Table Planner section and click on the upload details button.

The online table planner allows you to type in the details for your table plan such as the guest's names, table numbers or names, date of event etc. Whatever you type in can be saved so you can come back and edit them at any time (before the deadlines stated), until you are happy with the final details shown.

As soon as you start to input any details they will appear in your account as a summary and can edited at any time before you decide they are correct and accurate and submit them to us by simply hitting the "the details for my table plan are correct and complete, please start making my table plan".

Once submitted we will begin to create your personalised table plan for you.

Your Account

To place an order with Inkerman Designs we ask you to create a free account with us. This is very quick and easy - we simply require some basic details from you.

Your account gives you:

  • a summary of the personal details you have submitted
  • a summary of your table plan order
  • access to our online table planner where you can upload the details for your table plan
  • a summary of any details you have submitted through our online table planner

Delivery

Inkerman Designs cannot accept orders from customers residing outside of the United Kingdom.

We endeavour to dispatch your table plan within 10 working days of the final table plan details being submitted, subject to stock availability.

Most orders will be sent via Parcel Force Worldwide. They operate a 2 day delivery policy. To UK recipients in UK zones 1-3 deliveries are usually made between 7:00am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Should your order be required by a specific date, please email or call us to let us know and we will endeavour to meet your deadline.

Delivery charges are based on the weight of the table plan and is included in the cost shown on the website.

Should you choose to enter a place of delivery, rather than in person to the delivery address i.e. back of the garden gate, in wendy house, behind plant pot, we will not be held responsible for the items should they not be received.
